The King of Water Flowers - Amazon Royal Lotus

Amazonia royal lily is native to Brazil and other tropical areas of South America. Its leaves are reddish brown and can reach 3 meters in diameter.

Its flowers are bisexual, up to 30 cm in diameter, and often bloom out of the water. Although it only blooms for three days at a time, it continues to bloom.When it first opens in the evening, it is white with a strong aroma.

How to grow
1. Germination
Germination is carried out in a low-temperature constant-temperature incubator, the temperature is maintained at 25-28°C, the water is added to a depth of 2.5-3.0cm, and the water is changed once a day.

2. Seedling cultivation
After the seeds germinate and grow 2 leaves, transplant them into a flower pot. Generally, a small box with a diameter of about 15cm is used, which contains finer mud and a small amount of sand paste. The appropriate planting depth is that the seed shell is slightly higher than the soil surface by a few centimeters so that the leaves float on the water.

3. Colonization
